Not at all, it's a personal choice

Some people just have the florist decorate the cake with flowers or nothing at all

its a personal choice im not having one, instead there will be sugar flowers on the top of my cake

With the cakes i have been looking at, a cake topper really doesn't go, so i probably won't have one.

Nope, totally your call.

My cake is a bit on the ornate side and might look a litle over the top with a cake topper. I am just having some flowers to add a little extra decoration.

I have a lenox cake topper that i'm putting on the cake table but not on top of the cake. its personal preference.

I dont think so. We are getting one of the modern ones but it wont be on the cake it will be next to it. I just want it to have afterwards
