When you receieve a thank you card, do you take note of what type of card it is? I am trying to determine if I should splerge and buy expensive cards or just go with cheap thank you cards from Target?

I dont think it matters, personally...but you should check out Papyrus.

if they're really cute I notice them. I ordered mine from vista print and I love them, I personalized them with our names on the front and they were inexpensive.

It's doesnt matter to me. Hallmark also has nice thank you cards and they're not tooo pricey.

I made really cute ones on shutterfly and everyone has commented. I think if they are just regular no one will think one way or another - I'd say go for cute ones from target!

For our 'engagement' gifts - i made my own on vistaprint.com - they came out WONDERFULLY & i have re-ordered several times!!!
I'm going to do the same thing using a photo after we're married.
I've never noticed the type of card sent - no..

target.... i read the thank you then toss it.. unless it has a pic on it.. then i keep it for a little while then toss it!

personalize them with your pictures...it really does not matter as long as they are pretty and you love them and send them out on time

Only thing I would notice is if I didn't get one at all.
JMO - but this is one area I am saving some money. I found Shower thank you notes at a Christmas Tree Shop (cute too!) and I got 50 cards for $5. I am going to use the free ones that come with my photography package for the wedding.
