yes we plan on taking pictures together before the ceremony and cocktail hour start

I don't think that I am, but not b/c I think it is bad luck. I don't believe that. I will just be getting ready at my house and he will be getting ready at his.

no no no no no ....I am a bit old fashioned (eve tnough we live together) and I would never do that! I am also superstitious!

We aren't seeing each other before the ceremony. But I do have some advice for you if you are planning on it.... A friend of mine did this and I thought it was a great idea: She didn't have enough time between the ceremony and the CH to take pics so they had to do it before the ceremony. She was all upset because her FH was not going to have that moment in the church where he saw her for the first time. Her photographer suggested that they could create an intimate moment like that on film. Her and her FH traveled to the photo site seperately. The photographer and videographer were all set up and they told the groom to turn around. They had her walk up to him and tap him on the shoulder. He turned around and saw her in her dress for the first time.... And it was all caught on film! She never regretted the pre-ceremony pictures. They have great candids from the first few moments when he saw her.

this is exactly what we are doing in 19 days!

honestly, it really does create such a private, intimate moment for you two..plus you get to capture that on film so much easier than the photographer trying to shoot both your entrance and his reaction at the same time. if you have to pics beforehand, i highly suggest this!

At midnight the night before, we will say our goodbyes and he will not see me until the minute I walk down the aisle. Not only am I traditional but there's something about the look on a grooms face when he first see's his bride that I can't wait to experience.

we are taking pics before, and greeting our guests together as they arrive...(ceremony & reception are at the same place)...this is something FH fell in love with when he lived in Israel and always wanted his wedding this way...i got to attend a wedding there with him back in Nov & fell in love with 'Israeli' style weddings too...pretty funny for a Catholic and a Protestant...should be interesting!

same here, I want the first time that we see each other to be when I walk down that aisle. I think it will also make me less nervous because I will be focused on him.
