i hate solid peanut butter - can't spread it..... and its too cold then too (sorry, biasing my own thread!!)

OMG! How annoying is this debate??
My mom says the same thing..you have to put it in the fridge after opening and I have the same arguement..I have thrown away so many pieces of bread because of the peanut butter holes trying to spread.
So in the summer i put it in the fridge and in the winter i put it in the cabinet.

I agree. My grandmother always had her peanut butter in the fridge and when I tried to spread it on bread, it would just make holes in the bread. I say leave it out of the fridge!

Same here, mom always did it, but DH never did....so now we don't!! Makes sense...the bread doesn't get holes in it now!

No peanut butter in the fridge. It makes it hard and yucky. Creamy pb should be in the cabinet not the fridge.
