So after creating my seating arrangements, i just realized I didn't reserve a table for my vendors -- do they get a table too or do they eat somewhere else?? I have a small reception area and there really isn't space for another table just for the vendors ... just curious, how are u guys handling yours??

Re: do you reserve a table for vendors?
No.
Your RH will seat them somewhere to eat, either in the cocktail room or space permitting, they will set up a smaller table in the reception room.

I'm setting up a table next to the band area for vendors. It will be a plain table (no cp) for them to sit down and eat.

Re: do you reserve a table for vendors?
Are you providing dinner for vendors. My RH offers 1/2 off but it will still be like 65 a person. They suggested we let them eat at the cocktail which I've heard other people do but I feel bad. What did you do?

Re: do you reserve a table for vendors?
Actually - our caterer allows all vendors to eat off of the (HUGE) cocktail hour all for free. All of our vedors said that was totally fine with them. Also - even if we wanted to feed them, our caterer would charge a flat fee of $300 to feed them all, which was a great price anyway!

Re: do you reserve a table for vendors?
OUr vendors sat at a smaller table out of the way. As for vendors eating at the cocktail hour...It isn't that easy. The band or DJ is probably setting up, your photograhper & videographer are probably working with you taking pictures. I would just let them have a real meal when everyone else is so you don't miss out on certain pics and stuff. Also make sure you check in your vendors contracts. Some of them put in it they they need to be served dinner.. Our photographer does this and I can understand why. He actually said to my 'Do you get a lunch break when you are at work?' They are with you ALL DAY!!! let them eat.
Sorry iso long.

Re: do you reserve a table for vendors?
I did not set up a table, the hall had an area for vendors to eat seperate from my guests, ask your BM where they set up meals for your vendors before you set up a table for them
