My parents are both gone, but my mom came over every single day before she died last year.
We see my future in laws about once a week. We go over EVERY sunday for dinner.
We split holidays. Mornings are at his parents and afternoons are with my family. Evenings are ours!

my mom is in fla, so i see my in laws way more... i kinda like them better too!! shhhh... there is only so much i can take of my mother!

im close to my family so im with them all the time! We were living w/ his parents for a while so by no choice we were blessed w/ them 24/7! now that we moved out of state we have to split our time when we are back in NY! But we usually do still spend more holiday time w/ my side just b/c they are more into it!

We see my FILS more. They live about a mile away. We don't spend tons of time with them but, we stop in occasionally. FH plays golf with his dad a lot during the week. FMIL works in the library so I see her there.

That's an interesting question I was recently thinking about...
I see my parents/family more than his family...
but WE see his family more than mine.
I do want to make an effort to see my family TOGETHER more. I mean, we do every so often, but only going out to dinner or if we have someTHING to do or someWHERE to go... not so much informally. I want to make more of an effor to go to my parents for dinner on Sundays with my FH or have them over.
It's weird that you ask because I was JUST thinking about this a day or two ago...
Meanwhile, I went with my FMIL and FSIL to dinner last night WITHOUT my FH... I really can't see my FH doing that with my family without me. Hmmmmmm....

my parents are about 2 hours away.... his are about 20 minutes away. so i think we see his more, although we don't see them as much as you would think for living so close- which is FINE by me- LOL mine we see usually once or twice a month...

sadly, I see my inlaws more often! My mom can be a pain, but I love her and she's much more comforting to my personality than my MIL!

We live about an hour and a half from my parents and about 2 hours from FH's. So we see them both about once per month on average, but lately we've been seeing mine more often since we are planning the wedding on LI and that's where they live.

Both of us still live at home, but I'm out there almost every weekend so I see his parents then, and he comes out by me as well. When we first started dating he was always out by me more.

We see my parents more -every weekend - they live on LI. His parents live upstate, so we only see them a few times a year. I feel kind of bad about it - he feels like my parents are his second parents, but I don't think I will ever be able have that kind of relationship with his parents since we see them so infrequently.

He only has his parents - no siblings, Grandma died 2 years ago, no Aunts/Uncles.
I have my parents, 3 siblings with spouses and a total of 9 nieces/nephews. Not to mention 2 dozen Aunts & Uncles, and dozens more cousins and 2nd cousins.
So it makes sense that we see my family more; just about every weekend we're with some or all of my immediate family.
But DH doesn't choose to see his parents as often as I choose to see mine. I'm wondering, now that we're married, if it's my 'wifely' duty to arrange to see his parents more.

we see my parents more. we see them about 5 days a week.
honestly, since we got home from our honeymoon, i have seen my inlaws 2 times - that is in 7 weeks!!

kinda the same thing here.. after about 3 yrs of never spending time with my family i asked Fh how often have i had dinner at your moms he said i couldnt count if i tried, (ALL THE TIME) i said how often have you been here for dinner at my mom's.. he just FROZE! and said i can only remember 1! funny thing is that night was the 2nd! and his mom threw a freaken fit because we didnt go there for dinner with her and his aunt and to the movie.. his aunt and uncle are there ALLL the freaken time! his family is soooo time needy it has really cause some issues! sad thing is all they do is fight till 2/3/4am every holiday i have been there which is all of them since i've been with FH.. mine doesnt, we have a great time together! his and throw a fit if he comes to see my family for an hr or so on a holiday, but I am EXPECTED there later and to spend hrs there! If i am not i get the 4th degree!.. we've been working on this though

I would say we probably see his family more. His parents only live about 15 mins from us, and she invites us over for dinner at least twice a month. My family lives almost an hour away so we really have to make an effort to go see them.

Without a doubt, we see my in-laws more and I prefer it that way.
We only see my parents every few months, right now we see his parents every weekend but that will slow down to every few weeks once they stop coming to their upstate house for the summer.

we all live in the same town. FMIL sold her house last month and rented the house at the end of our block. We dont see then that much because we are all fairly private people.
My mom lives about 1 mile away and I see her ever other day. I have 6 sister so I see one of them at least every day.

Both of my parents are gone now and so is FH mother, We see my FFIL everyday.
