I don't chew it, but back in the day when I did, I was usually a swallower.....and it never grew into a huge balloon in my belly....

And to answer the question - I spit. My mom would yell when we swallowed our gum.

I have swallowed in the past, I guess that's why I have a tummy I am trying to work off.

I'll never tell..... Seriously though, I haven't swallowed gum since I was a child (and even then it was accidentally)!!! I heard years and years ago that it can be quite dangerous, that scared me enough!!!!
