Re: Do you still...
lol i am not married yet but soon to be in 06 and our 6 year anniversary(dating) is coming up friday the 3rd.(and 09/12/99 is the day he actually asked me out lol)(so we have like 20 anniversaries) and i asked him that question yesterday ..lol and he laughed at me and said 'how many anniversaries are we going to have money is tight now' lol
so we just decided for now we will have our ANNIVERSARY on the date we got engaged 12/24/03. and then when we get married that will be our NEW ANNIVERSARY .
but december 3rd still means alot to me and i think we r just going to go out to eat just a little something to kinda celebrate small(if he doesnt work :*(

Re: Do you still...
Well of course the wedding anniversary is the big one.
Considering I will be engaged a little less than a year (50 weeks). I won't get to celebrate the anniversary of my engagement... I'll be a newlywed.
I plan on remembering the dates and do mini-celebrations... we'll eat at home but on the good dishes, maybe exchange a card or a note and buy each other something little or just do something for ourselves on that day. Would rather create a memory than always exchange gifts.

Re: Do you still...
This was a big source of contention in our house this year. Our 3 year anniversary was in October... and I forgot about it FH was NOT pleased. So yes, I guess we'll have to celebrate them forever. Maybe not celebrate but a fleeting thought or something - I think the card is a good idea.

Re: Do you still...
We are not entirely sure what our dating anniversary was anymore. We know it was March...either the 6th or the 9th. *shrugs* We celebrate our wedding anniversary (obviously, lol!), our engagement anniversary (usually with just a nice dinner) and we kind of acknowledge the anniversary of the day we met but don't do much more than maybe champagne because that's only 5 days before our wedding anniversary.

We never celebrated our dating anniversary when we were dating! LOL I don't think we even celebrated our 1 year engagement! Hopefully we'll celebrate our wedding anniversary!

Re: Do you still...
My DH says that only our marraige anniversary counts now, but I think we celebrate one last one in June because it will be our 10 year anniversary. After that, we'll just celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Re: Do you still...
Our wedding anniversary (9/20/03) is close to our dating anniversary (10/2/97). Last year on 10/2 I gave him a card and he seemed surprised (we Always celebrated it before we got married) and I told him I'd like to acknowledge it with a card or special dinner, nothing big and he said okay. This year on 10/2 I got a card again and he did nothing. I was disappointed and he said 'I thought we were only celebrating the wedding ann' to which I reminded him of last year's conversation... we'll see what happens next year

Re: Do you still...
We never celebrated it. I'm not really an anniversary type person and neither is JT. But we do always make reference on that day, like, 'Hey, Four years ago today, you were hitting on me in a bar.'
I dont think we will celebrate it after the wedding but we will probably just be like 'Aw its our ___ yr anniversary when we were just dating'

Re: Do you still...
we're not married yet, but we still celebrate the MONTHS..lol...well not really celebrate, but we try to be together and at least wish each other a happy 'month'iversary. I can't imagine not celebrating our dating anniversary. It's so significant to us since we've been velebrain ti for so long. We'll celebrate our 8 year dating annoiversary before we celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary...

Re: Do you still...
For us, the Wedding Anniversary is that one we'll celebrate... however, we'll still acknowledge the dating anniversary with a special something (small) each year.
