I was wondering if anyone had any experience with wearing their hair down on their wedding day. If so, did it get messy before the end of the night????

TOO FUNNY!!! That is EXACTLY why I am wearing my hair all up!!! I touch my hair all the time and figured by the end of the day I would look at ratty as I do at the end of the work day!!! LOL!!!

If I even attempted to wear my hair down it would wind up in a ponytail before I made it to the reception! lol! I think hair down looks beautiful and romantic, but I'm taking my pictures outdoors and getting married on the beach, so I know it would drive me crazy!

I love the way my hair looks up plus its sooo much more comfortable for me. So 4 me that wasnt even an option, but my sis went to a wedding a few months ago and the bride had her hair down and it looked really cute at first but by the middle of the reception she said it looked soooooo bad. she felt really bad for the bride - shes gunna be pissed when she sees the pics!

i put it up because i think it looks more formal, and i got married in the summer and long hair down would have been hell!

I wore my hair 1/2 up 1/2 down, I usually always wear my hair down, so to wear it up on my wedding day would be weird for me. I feel like it stayed the whole night.

it depends. how do you normally wear your hair? i NEVER wear mine all up, so to me it woldn't be naturally to wear it all up on the wedding day.
also, keep in mind your hair type and time of the year. i.e: thick and curly + summer and humidity = NO NO for all down.

I really depends on your gown, and your hair type - If your hair tends to get flat or unruly - i'd put it up . - If you know it will stay all night and would look great even if you decided to throw it up in a ponytail leave it down !! You know your own hair and what you're comfortable with ! -
