If you consider yourself a practicing Catholic and plan to continue practicing, it would be right to get married in the church. You also have to consider what you'll want to raise the children. Although pre-cana doesn't sound like fun, FH and I are doing the all in one weekend engaged encounter. It counts for pre-cana. (we are OOT couple).
I am Catholic, FH is not. We have already agreed to raise the children in the Episcopal church, but are getting married in a Catholic church because my family approves of that more, and in case we change our minds on being Catholic, our marriage will still be ok.

I have not been going to church as much as I should be I would never consider not getting married in my church...I am so sentimental its the place where I made all of my sacraments. Plus my mom and grandma would be really upset if we didn't get married in a Catholic Church
