Do you think I can learn calligraphy to do my own envelopes?
Since I have about a millons years until my wedding, maybe I can get a kit and learn calligraphy to do my own envelopes? What do you think?
I took calligraphy in 8th grade..I was pretty bad it it. But we used real pens and inkwells.too messy. I think nowadays people use the chisel tip markers...

It is really funny that you posted this -- I bought calligraphy pens a few weeks ago. I totally want to learn how to do it. I think you could probably learn how to do it in a month or so.

You totally can learn...My mom is doing mine...I went to the public library & took out TONS of books & i bought the pens...Practice makes perfect!

Me Too!!!!!! I bought a set on ebay so I can start practicing!!!!!! I have a long time to, to get it perfect!!!!!!

You could absolutely do it!! Esp now that you have the extra time! It's been awhile since you've been in 8th grade, I'm sure you'll be a lot more careful knowing that you actually have a use for it now!!

IM NOT SURE....I THINK ITS KINDA HARD TO DO. BUT I GUESS THAT YOU CAN DO ANYTHING IF YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO IT.

Try an adult ed class given at a high school or community center or continuing ed at a college. They may have calligraphy classes at a cheap rate.

They do calligraphy on the computer and it look really good....and its 1/2 the price

Yeah thats what I am doing using the computer buying clear labels and wella its done lol lol
It does save money if you learn how to do it yourself I just can't see paying someone to address my envelopes plus I don't have the patience to learn I don't have neat writing either so it would be a mess

I def think you could do it. I'm actually thinking of doing it myself. My sister took a calligraphy class a couple of years ago so maybe she would help also.
