I know how I normally am at a party and i am dancing and my hair is down, sweaty and gross, which is why I am putting my hair up.

If you intend on wearing your veil all night, you might want it up. But I wore my down and took off my veil and I was fine.
It also depends on your hair. Does it get limp very quickly or is it thick and full? If it gets limp, you won't want it down, as it will get stringy when it is sweaty, but if you have full hair it should be okay.
I am in favor of hair down!

I was nervous too that I would be too hot.
My hair was still looking great after the wedding.
I believe my neck was a little wet from dancing and all but it wasn't bad. There is AC and cold drinks. It wasn't bad at all for me.

depends what type of person you are and your hair type of course... I wore mine up but I was completely sweating from dancing... It stayed great. If it was donw, i would have looked like a wet poodle

Thanks girls!! I think I have it up... I have pretty fine hair, not thick.. so I think it will end up being a mess... and I LOVE to dance and I am ALWAYS putting my hair up because I'm too hot!

I think hair down is very nice, but I know myself, I'm the ponytail queen. There was no way I would have even tried wearing my hair down for my wedding because I know an hour into it I would have pulled it back.

i believe it depends on yourself...I originally wanted mine down but then I know that I get all hot & sweaty from dancing...I did not want to be annoyed with it sticking to my back...Plus my hairdresser made a point that if it rains (by chance) your hair can frizz by being down...JMO

I guess I was relegated to princess then because I thought I was the ponytail queen
This was actually what made my final decision for me. I thought about how all I want is my hair out of my face and off my neck 99% of my life so to have to deal with it down for my wedding was not really going to fly.

I wore it up because I just didn't want to be worried about it at all, and it stayed up all day and night, no problem. I also think you should think about whether or not you normally wear your hair up. I wear ponys and clips a lot, so for me it was a natural choice. I have seen brides wear their hair up, however, who NEVER wear it up and.... I don't know, it just didn't look like them. JMO.

FI is insisting on my hair down or he's not coming!
I wore my hair down to FSILs wedding and my hair is really ong, however not that thick. I still sewat my butt off and it made me hot and CRANKY
Early June may not be that bad. Think about half up, or at least out of your face. If your dress is strapless (isn't everyone's?) or backless, it may not be that bad.
