Do you think I would be too stressed out to do my bridal parties makeup on the day of the wedding?
I am a makeup artist, but I was still looking into getting someone to do my makeup the day of the wedding because I dont want to be stressed out that morning. And I also have four bm's and my fsil, fmil, and my mother and wanted them to get their makeup done as well, but the prices seem to be so steep for something I could do myself. But it would be too much for me to do all of them the day of the wedding no? Please tell me if this is a bad idea so I can get it out of my head.

If it were me, I definitely would not do it - 7 people - that's a lot of makeup to do on your wedding day.

I would def. not too it niether...you have to much to do for yourself that morning & any free time you have, you should relax so you don't get tired..out

Don't do it!!!!! The day of my wedding I wasn't nervous but there were points where my hands were shaking while we were getting ready. I couldn't imagine doing someone's M/U!! Let yourself relax that day and have someone else do all the work!!

What time does the wedding start? Do you think you will have enough time? I have heard from several people that they were a nervous wreck and crazy all the way up until the day of and were perfectly calm the morning of the big day. Everything is done and ready. I think if you have enough time and usually handle stress fairly well, I say go for it. You might not be happy with the way someone else does makeup. I dunno, kind of a difficult call.

hahaha, i knew it wasn't a good idea but I am sitting here trying to find ways to save some money....If I did attempt it I would probably start breaking down before I even had my dress on. Are you gals paying for your bridal party to get their hair and makeup done that day?

No, I couldn't afford to pay for my BMs to get their hair and M/U done. I gave them the choice of either having it done professionally or doing it themselves. I told them the prices of the girls I had booked and let them make the decision, I think everyone was happy with that. Yes, the popular ladies on here are expensive but you can find those that do good work and charge a decent price.

If you really want to do it, I would not do anyone else but you. And while you may still want to do yours, honestly, time is going to fly, you are going to stress you out when you do not have to.
Get someone to do it. Even yours!

I wouldn't suggest doing all of their makeup. Your wedding day is for you to be pampered and free of stress. If you can get someone else to do it, it would make your morning alot smoother.

I paid for their hair, but they almost didn't let me - they're great girls and good BM's. I didn't pay for makeup, but I didn't require it either - hair, on the other hand, I really wanted them to get done professionally. Make up they all did on their owna nd they looke dgreat.

It sounds like a bad idea to me. Our best man's wife is a hair stylist and she is bugging me to let her do my hair. All I can think about is how can she be ready on time if she's with me?
