I went to my cousin's wedding, which is in Chicago the week before my wedding??? We're close (this is the 2nd time both of us in engaged and at the same time!!) and I really want to go!!
The wedding is on June 17. I could fly out on the evening of the 16th and return the morning of the 18th. I checked airfare, and it's quite reasonable.
Thoughts???
The ONLY plans I have as of now are getting hilights on the 18th, in the afternoon.

I woudl go for it! You have advance notice so you can definitely plan so you won't be too stressed and if its only about 2 1/2 days, you should be fine. Plus, you want to go so it will be a fun time to get away right before the craziness!

I would say go!! I know how it is to be close to a cousin too and I would do everything in my power to go!! Plus it'll just get you all excited for your own special day!! Congrats to both you and your cousin!!

If you have everything done and it won't stress you out, I say go! It would be good to get out and have fun not thinking about planning! And you should definitely go if you guys are close.
