Do you think it is just as good to Register online as it is to go to the store?
I never seem to get a chance to get to the store to register so I was thinking of doing it online. Do you think it's just as good or is it better to actually see the product you are registering for??? Also, do they have a limited amount of products online than in the store???
What do you girls think??????? TIA!!!!!!

I opened up both my registries online but went to the stores to update them. a lot of stuff stores carry is not on their website.

YES!
I did both of my registries online Crate & Barrel and BBB.
We actually went to C&B to see the stuff but it was so crowded we just came home and did it on the computer.

It seems that the selection online and in the store are fairly similar. I did one registry online (and then went to visit the items awhile later) and I did one in the store. If you know what you want it's no problem.

I started mine in-store, then updated and finished them online. I haven't had a problem with any items being available, but I do agree that some things look way different in person than online.

I actually liked doing it online a lot better. Being in the store stressed me out.

i did it in the store and added and deleted from th computer
there are tons of stuff in the store and not online or it was online but not in the stores.

I started in the store and then added online. We preferred picking out dishesand silverware in person, but our dishes had a lot more stuff available online then in the store (mixing bowls, etc.) and I added that online.

I started Registering on-line, but decided to go to the stores. It acutally helped going to the store. I go to hold the item and really look at it. Some of the things I registered for on-line, I didn't like in person.
I say go to the store and register for a few things, and look around. You can finish it on-line.

Started in the store BUT add things online all the time!!!! Some of the things that are in the store I find are not online...but I think online is awesome!

I did the same thing-and agree that for certain things I would want to check them out in person. For example; I like to feel the weight of pots and pans and I like to see the detail of China up close.

I agree with first registering in the store and then finishing up/adding/deleting online. I think it's important to see the selection in the store...especially when it comes to China. So much $$$ is being spent...so you want to make sure you really like the items you choose.

I started online, went to the store twice to update. I still add things as I see them online. at Bed Bath and Beyond. (I love that store!)
