If I'm only offering guests one option for a hotel? We don't have too many OOT'ers, and those that are, are our friends from college so we'd want them to all stick together anyhow, and the one hotel I've reserved rooms at is reasonably priced, and nice.

I think it is very common to just offer one hotel. We did. If the price is not what someone wants to pay or they would rather stay somewhere else, then they can always do their own research.

Re: Do you think it matters
I've normally been offered 1 hotel when receiving an invitation.
We're only offering 2 because we have 150 guests, all OOT

We are only doing one. Two of the others we looked into were already booked. If they want to stay at another hotel, they can do their own research.

Re: Do you think it matters
I have the situation. I don't have many people staying at a hotel, so why have two or more. I get a discount if I guarntee 10 rooms. The best part is the hotel is in the parking lot with the hall. NO DRIVING!!! My mom wants me to get one more option.

Re: Do you think it matters
We only offered 1 hotel to our OTers and it wasn't an issue. They were all happy with what we offered them.

Offering one is totally fine.
I would rather have everyone in one place.

Re: Do you think it matters
we'll probaby offer only 1...because our hall only recommends 1 and that is the only one that will offer our guests a shuttle. i would love to have another hotel..but if we do, our guests would have to provide their own transportation. (we won't be able to pay for a round trip shuttle for them.)

I've actually never had more than one option given to me. I think it's totally fine!

Re: Do you think it matters
Totally fine. That's all we did too.
The only time I've seen people offer 2 hotels is when one is like the Ritz Carlton and then they provide a less expensive option.

We only have one hotel....love it - decreases the stress, amount of contracts being dealt with, and other things!

We are also only offering 1 hotel. If someone doesn't want to stay there for some reason, I'm sure they can figure out how to find another hotel - or call someone and ask.
