Do you think it's necessary to have seating card holders?
I was thinking of getting them but I figured if I don't purchase them I will save some money. Or do you think it looks nicer than just plain white with their name and table number?

NO! I think they are nice, but have never really used any that I have received.

i agree.. I think it would be nice.. but we decided to do something simple and not use place card holders.

It is a nice touch but no one will notice if they are in holders. I did frames and a lot of people left them behind. It's definitely a place where you can save some money.

You absolutely do not need seating card holders. I recently attended a wedding and the bride used seating card holders. No one realized it was intended that they be taken and everyone was pulling the cards out of the holders and leaving them on the place card table.
Do yourself a a favor and save the money.

They're nice but like everyone else says, I don't believe they're necessary...I bet a lot of them are left after the reception. Save your money!
