Do you think it's okay to get a haircut with 7 weeks to go?

I like the length (it's at the middle of my back). But my layers have grown out. I'm doing half up for the wedding with curls and i'm afraid since the layers are pretty much gone that the curls will just look like a big afro cause they'll be sitting right on top of each other! Is this crazy? Should I leave it alone or just go to the salon and hope they keep the length and just add layers? What would you do?

I had to leave it! It bothered me so much but I did half up/down and it looked so pretty so I had to get it as long as I could, no cutting. I wouldn't and I did not. It grew a lot too!

I wouldn't. I've heard way too many stories how brides to be go in for a trim and get several inches cut off. IMO, stick it out... not too much longer before you can get the newlywed chop just put your hair up for now. that's what I did.

i am also going through the same thing! I need a trim for my layers but i love the length of my hair and i dont want it any shorter (i am also afraid a trim can turn into a cut), so i am also questioning whether I should get a trim now or just let my hair go and if it has died ends, atleast it will be disguised by the curls I am having for my hairdo. The women whos doing my hair did say though that the layers i had were perfect for the curls (gave them my lift and height). I have no clue what to do LOL. Also i have to get my highlights done but will prob wait till 3 weeks before the wedding.

i would leave it. What if it doesnt come out how you want it and then its too late. You dont want to get yourself upset about your hair being that it is very important to you for your hairstyle the day of the wedding.
