for us to contact people before the rsvp date to ask them to send it back (like for people who already sorta told us their answer but just havent sent it back) and just like texting. and its only 8 days until the rsvp date
until after the actual rsvp date, we wont call anyone like formally but do you think its rude to even bring it up before the rsvp date cuz we got one or two responses, saying yes i know (so w the hellll cant you send it then???)

If they told you over text, I'd just text or call and ask them to mail it in.
If they haven't said anything at all, I'd give them until the RSVP date.

I don't think it's rude. We are still waiting on 4 RSVP cards that are from people who confirmed they are coming and the RSVP date was the 20th of Feb.

this may not be the right thing to do but this is what I have been doing. for younger family & friends (people who are recently married or planning a wedding) I have sent them reminders about sending the responses. for older family I am waiting until the mail comes on the response date & then calling their @$$es.

I'd send out a causal reminder that the RSVP date is approaching, via text if its close friends and family.

i texted my bridal party members n friends i know r coming who still haven't responded to mail them back before i kick them!!
got one yesterday that had a special note on it.. 'i hate you jerk!' ahhhhhhh.. do u feel the loveeeee LOL
but i only did that with close friends.. i'm gonna start stalking officially after the RSVP date
i'm missing almost half!!

I'd wait until after the date. It kind of annoys me when people start reaching out when i still have time to send it back. But I also know what it's like on your end...and wish people would just drop it in the mail!!!
