JT to pick our videographer? He really needs a wedding 'job' And since he went to film school, I thought this would be a good job for him. What other 'jobs' can I give him? He needs to get his own ass in gear with this wedding. I don't want to be in charge of everything. What questions should I have him ask? Wait, forget that, he'll know, he's a film maker. Duh. But I just don't want to end up with a 10,000 production for a wedding video

give him a budget amount to pick within, and tell him you have 'Veto power'... that way if you dont like it you still have a say

I wouldnt leave my FI in charge of that b/c as he says he has no idea what hes looking for - he thinks anything without chessy 90's graphics is nice. I let FH be in charge of the two things I know he REALLY cares about that way he takes it seriously and does a good job - hes booking/picking the limo, and planning the HM. Its going to be a surprise for me untill the end ** edited to say: but since your FI is interested in that stuff then its great! - just make sure you have the same taste in videos!!**

I think the budget is a good idea, but letting him pick would be good. Let him use his film school experience. He would probably be a little more critical, but that could be good. I think you will wind up with a better video for it.
