to tell you the truth I have been to Salzburg 2x...each for just a day...and theres not much to it...
so I would try to spend at least 3 days in Vienna

Yeah, we were just thinking of taking a day trip there, and consentrating on Vienna in the meantime!

yes, It just seemed like a waist of money traveling to New Orleans, when you can go to Europe for almost the same price. We will wait for somespecials to go to New Orleans.

I don't think it's ever stupid to go to spend time in the birthplace of Gustav Klimt!!! I've wanted to go to Vienna ever since we planned our trip to Germany.

I don't think it's stupid at all. I've been to Salzburg several times, and you don't need a lot of time there as was mentioned before. 5 days is definitely enough time.
