i have to admit i planned most of everything w/o being on this site BUT i did get some awesome ideas for little things i added and i would have to say that i would've liked to have known about this site at the beginning of my planning

YES!!! I asked a new girl at my job who is engaged what her LIW sn is and she said 'I don't remember, i was onlyh on there like once months ago'

I have even tried to recruit people from other states and area in NY...I just think there are so many good ideas no matter where you are getting married!

What i love about it is that we are all going through the same things which is different than talking to girlfriends and family members that are not engaged or married and as much as they love you, they do not want to talk about it 24/7

when i first got engaged a girl at work told me about this site and i was skeptical just cause im such an online preson that im sure if its wedding related id find it. she kept telling me over and over again to use LIWeddings. then finally like 2 months later i found it on my own. a few days after that i rememebered that this was the site she was talking about and felt very silly when i finally told her i was here. talk about

I have been on this site since I got engaged because my sister used this site and wanted me to join. When FH's friend got engaged his fiance (gonzo23456) asked if I had heard of this site and of course I told her I have been on it and I am so glad she is on it as well. She and I are both trying to recruit another friend of ours who is getting married in 08 to join!!! I just can't imagine not being on this site! Whenever I want to talk weddings you girls are here!!!

I know what you mean! There is this girl at my mom's job who is getting married in July and she keeps giving my mom stuff like pamphlets and ads for wedding things to give to me and when I met her to thank her I told her about this site and she was like 'Oh um, ok, yeah I'll check it out' I was like 'IT'S THE BEST!!!'
