Do you think it's worth it

to pay for a day of coordinator? FH thinks we should save the money but I think it may be worth it. What are your honest opinions?

I had one... IMO it made me feel better having one but did I NEED one??? NO!
As long as you give clear instructions about everything to your hall you can definitly live without one!

I am confident that I will be fine on the day of my wedding. I wouldn't get a day of coordinator. I would use the money somewhere else.

I'm using one. I don't want to have to handle a single problem during the day. I just want to have fun. That's what my DOC will help me do.

She's also helping me get on track as we get closer to the day.

I have a meeting with one in a few weeks and i think we are going to book...i dont want any worries i dont want to make calls i want someone to handle it...i dont want my mom or aunts to have to do it either...i want everyone to enjoy...FH doesnt think we need one ...but i do

I don't think you need it. Your photographer and banquet manager can handle everything.

Thank you for your feedback. This is the first thing FH & I have not agreed on. Since I work full time and go to school, the last month has been SO overwhelming & I think it may be nice. I'll go for some consultations & think it over. As always, I really appreciate your thoughts!

I think it may be worth it. My maitre D is basically like my coordiantor he is in charge of everything but if he was not I would get one right away. I guess it depends how much it costs..

We're not getting one. Our hall manager seems great. If we were having a bigger wedding or if we were more uptight then I definitely would.

Its a tough call. I had heard of one months and months ago and thought no way am I spending the money. But after hearing raves about Laura from LAProductions, I decided to meet with eher and hear what it was all about. Well, I booked her on the spot. I now feel a lot of relief.

BUT, I didn't even consider spending the extra money until after I saved some money on some other things. I had a budget for everything and I was under on many items, so I had a little extra to spare.

As many brides said though, I am sure you be fine without too!

I say, go meet with one to get more info to help you decide.
