Personally, I think they look like bedroom slippers. not something you'd wear to your own wedding. A bit to casual. JMO.

ditto,

...but its your day!! enjoy em.

i like them alot-id say wear them-im wearing a pair of white beaded oldnavy flipflops the whole day, no ones really lookin at your feet and besides you dont want to be miserable cause your feet hurt!

wear them!

I'm doing something similar - to me, it's SO much more important to be comfortable than to have pictures of my feet look elegant or something...

to me, sure, we spend a lot of time and money and effort looking good for this - but even more goes into the party itself, and I am darn well going to be able to enjoy it without worrying about tripping over my heels or getting blisters on my feet!

They're very cute, but I wouldn't wear any flip flops or slippers during my reception.... but if you want them as an insurance policy, sure, it's your day and you should do what is comfy...

the whole slipper / flip flop thing is a bit odd to me... I mean, I do know why brides do this... they buy gorgeous shoes that just happen to be exceptionally painful after a few hours, and then use the slippers when their feet are in pain... which usually is very soon after the start of the reception...

Instead of getting the high-heeled, gorgeous and painful shoes, why not just get very pretty shoes for the whole day that aren't painful? That's the part I don't really get....

upon a second look at them, I do think you might really get hurt if you try to dance in them. I once had that flip flop style of slippers, and I recall them being rather loose and floppy.... not exactly ideal for anything other than schlepping around in the house. Even stairs were a bit hazardous in my version of those slippers....

For some reason, I think those slippers may be more of a hazard than you would think. They're not really slim flip flops, but more of a bedroom slipper and I can just imagine the long dress, the dancing and the slippers combined in a possible dancefloor catastrophe. But, that's also just me and if you knw that you feel comfy and secure in those slippers, then go for it.

I think they look like spa slippers, not something I'd wear out of the house. Why don't you find some pretty satin slippers, or maybe a pretty pair of glittery flat thongs? There's a lot of them around for the summer. They'd be both totally comfortable, and they'd still look fancy if anyone caught sight of your shoes. Which can happen--I've seen lots of wedding pictures where the bride was dancing and you saw her rubber flip flops that looked like pool shoes, not wedding shoes.

I agree with some of the other posters--it's your wedding. You spend SO much money to make every bit of you beautiful, and then so many women wear ridiculously casual shoes for the reception, when, I'm sorry, but people DO see your feet, unless you're wearing the biggest of ballgown skirts. And it's also very true that if you have the skirt hemmed for high heels you may hurt yourself tripping over it in flats. If you want to wear flats for the reception, try not to get heels that are too high for the ceremony. 2' or less.

My own shoes have low heels and I adore them and don't plan on taking them off unless they're killing me. If they do, I'm getting a pretty pair of satin ballet-style slippers to change into.
