Do you think they are too old to be ring bearers??
My brother will be 8 by the time we get married and my future nephew will be 10.
My brother is over 3 feet (very tall for his age) and I saw my future nephew again this weekend after not seeing him for a few months and he shot up and filled out bigtime! Hes over 3 feet too. What do you think??? Will that look dumb? They already know about it and are excited to hold the rings and everything. The only other option would be a junior groomsman.

Hmmmm me and my mom were just talking about this for my 7 year old cousin. He acts like he is in his terrible 2's so he seems younger but I am not sure. I think its ok though, b/c thye will look young compared to the ushers.

I am having my nephew be ring bearer ... he's 11. My daughter is FG/Jr. BM and she's 9. So they kinda match in size and all.
I don't think that it's weird.

i think its' fine...my flowergrls are going to be 9 and 6 and my ringboy 2... if thats who u want...then do it!

I think it's fine. I would make sure they are fine with it! When they get to be that age they don't want to be looked at like babys. I would ask them if I was in your shoes.

Our ringboy is 6 but small for his age. Fh's other nephew will be 10 at our wedding, We thought he was too old so we made him a junior usher.

My cousin will be 10...so we made her a JrBM...b/c she is tall for her age. We made my other cousin the RB and he will be 8...he however is small for his age. So I guess I am no help!
Do whatever you feel is right!! If they are already excited about having the job as RBs and you don't want to disappoint them, than keep them RBs...better to have happy RBs than unhappy JrGM's...but if you think thy will look too awkward for you than JrGM it is! Good luck!

No matter what, it will be cute as long as they are excited and want to do it. I had my niece as my ring bearer and it was adorable, and she was so happy to do it.
Make the most of your day by making it special for those you love-if this makes it special for them go for it.
