do you think this is late?

My wedding date is 9/25, my reply by date is 8/25 and I have no chance of getting my invits out before 7/15...still no list from FMIL. I feel stressed and FH keeps telling me it's no big deal

My wedding is in exactly 2 months.

I am held up in sending the invitations out because my OWN FATHER messed up the calligraphy.

Misspelled names, towns, inviting people who aren't invited, that sort of thing.

My Reply date is in a month.

I'll be honest with you. If your FMIL hasn't given you a list yet, I'd say screw her guests and take care of yours.

I wouldn't exactly say screw her!! But send yours out and when she gives u the list send them out. That's what I did.

as you all can tell I'm loosing sleep over this. I will take your advise and send mine out this weekend. They make it seem like we have all the time in the world. They are always teesing me about be like one of those crazy brides on TV...if they don't give me their list I think I be worse.

I am getting married before you (one week) and I am sending mine out July 26th, with the rsvp date as 8/27, I just got FMIL's list last night.

8 - 10 weeks is the proper etiquette. I sent mine out at 9. My RSVP date is 8/1 for my 8/29 wedding. Don't worry about it. People know about your wedding, they have the date set aside.

Well my RSVP date is 8/10, headcount to hall 8/17 and if a small miracle occurs they will be in the mail July 10. Emphasizing small miracle. Sent envelopes to calligrapher today

You still have time I wouldn't stress too much but I would start putting pressure on the FMIL to get her list together ASAP.

I was told by FH that by then end of next week I should have all the address...they make it seem like it's a suprise. we've been engaged for 18 mo.

I would be stressing about this too. I am getting married a week before you and my invitations have already been sent out and I have already gotten about 20 RSVPs already. My RSVP date is August 8th.

We share very similar dates. RSVP is 8/28, and I believe I'm sending them out 7/19, or 7/26, too. The hall doesn't need the headcount until 9/10.

Hello wedding day twin. Dont worry I havent sent mine out yet. Theplace I got the invitations from told me to have them out no later then the last week in July. That gives us 2 months before the wedding, or 8 weeks. Thats proper ettiquette. My RSVP date is September 4th.
Im gonna send mine out in a week or so just to be sure. I did sent out STD after my engagement party last year too.
Try not to stress....

we didn't send out save the dates because my brother passed away 6 weeks after we go engaged and we wanted to wait until my partents were ok with moving forward with the wedding plans. anyway, my fh alled his mom today and she says only five addresses are missing...we'll see.

but thank you all for your support and advice.
