Do you think we (females) have a gossip gene???

I am so annoyed right now. fh has a few very close guy friends and they are all in the wedding party. 2 of those guys are married and we always hang out together so of course the girls were sort of thrown together. Which is fine, I really like them but there is just so much gossip and talking behind peoples backs that it is driving me crazy!!

Why cant everyone just get along and if you have a problem with someone either A: hold it in B: vent to fh about it cause lets face it he wont tell anyone or C: actually confront the person you have a problem with I know shocking but it really can be done!

Its the exact reason why I have almost no girlfriends.... all the cattiness and how everything becomes a screaming 'OMG' moment... makes me want to hurl

It just really *****!!!! and i cant say anything because i promised I wouldnt... I just wish we could all hang out and there would be none of this crap going on behind each others backs

I vent to FH all the time about how his friends gf's are truly annoying but thank god he agrees but im also thankful they are just gf's... maybe they wont be around for too long... haha whoa am i a b*tchhhh

i agree w/ you 100% about gossipy girls--they need to find a more constructive way to (a) handle interpersonal conflict, and (b) spend their fn energy. one stupid girl can make hanging out w/ a whole circle of friends total misery.

it's sad the way women hate each other.

This is the reason I have only one very good girlfriend and a million guy friends. Every friend of mine who was a girl always started crap or talked crap. I never have to worry about guys doing this. If I am angry at a guy friend, we just talk it out. It never seems to work that way with the ladies. Oh well.

I really, really can't stand it lately....I feel like everywhere I turn someone is calling me to talk about someone else...and then they wonder why they get my voicemail..I don't understand it...I never have the urge to call one of my friends to talk behind another friends back, I mean c'mon its pretty ridiculous. I think a lot of friends vent to me because I am so neutral, I always try to hear both sides and put a positive spin on it...but all the complaining is bringing me down!!
