Do you tip at a makeup trial?? If so, how much? My friend says not to tip but I feel bad not tipping at all. So just wondering what you ladies think?

being in that industry the recommended tip is 15-20% of the service.

HI Tamara...I tipped for one of mine ($10 for a $50 trial) and then at another I didn't. Usually you pay in cash for the trial and tipping is up to you, esp if you like/don't like the results lol. A couple of my friends didn't tip. They tipped on the day of the wedding only.

I tipped on a free trial, but at a fairly expensive trial where the money went directly to the girl, I didn't tip. I will probably include a small tip day of though, because the rate is pretty expensive, and once again, goes directly to the girl.

I tipped $10 and she really didn't want to take it, but she drove to me, so I made her. HTH
