Do you tip for..

a hair/makeup trial?especially when they are charging you?
What about you seamstress? When I went for my first fitting she was so informative and helpful.
just wondering...

I tipped at my hair trial...and I also tipped my seamstress who did the alterations on my dress...she did such a wonderful job and was sooooooooo helpful to me with other things I needed done, not only the alterations on my dress...she changed my veil to a better comb and sewed a new lining in my capelet.

I tipped at both of my makeup trials (two different artists - one charged, one didn't).

I think tipping is a personal issue - if you're happy with the service and feel someone went above and beyond - I think it's more than OK to tip.
