They're still performing a service. And because they're working from their home they have to pay for all of the products that they use themselves. They're making a profit, but not pocketing all of the money. There really is no difference than going to the person at the salon. That person may pocket the entire cost of the service but pay rent on say, the chair (IE... hairstylist may pay the owner of the salon rent on the chair they use. This way they can charge whatever they want and they dont' have to kickback to the salon.). Make sense?

If I'm going to their home for the service, then I wouldn't tip. But if they came to my home then yes, I would tip.

Honestly, the prices for wedding services are so inflated that I did not tip.

I am talking any beauty service. Does not necessarily have to be wedding.

It depends if it's the owner and the type of service.

I tip for deliveries.

If I am being charged extra for someone to come to my house, I may not tip.
