Do your Dads, Uncles, Male Cousins, Male Friends and/or Male Whatevers...

Like your gown?

My Dad said, 'Very Nice.' Not that he means it's ugly, he just can't tell from pics, plus I think he's only enthusiastic about food and working out. It's ok, my Dad is still awesome.

My guy friend said the same, but it was A LOT coming from this guy. I was so flattered when he said that

What about the rest of you?

all my guy friends loved it. all said 'wow! soooo fancy!'
my dad said the same and he never gives compliments, the best u can get out of him is 'nice' which means 'holy shyt thats incredible!'

my guy friends were actually way more excited about the dress than any of the girls hehe

Only my stepfather saw it. He absolutely loved it. Then again, he always compliments people. He's just that kind of guy. I was making a cheese platter for a party one time and he told me how nicely I had sliced the cheese. Went on about it for a good 5 minutes. If you ever need to feel better about anything, he's the guy to go to. If you want, I can show him your dress!

same here......wait not true, my dad's BFF saw it b/c the seamstress in his shop is doing alterations. I got the 'Ohhhhh sooooo pretty!' but for all I know he was just saying it!

Ummm my dad said it was 'alright'. But, we have VERY different taste. My dress is kind of plain and my dad is old school Italian and wanted me to wear something long sleeved, extremely puffy, with tons lace and sequins which is completely opposite of my dress. The dresses he was picking out for me to try on were beautiful but just not for me.

My dad said my gown was absolutely gorgeous. Then he said 'that's a really long train!'. Ummm yea dad, its a cathedral train!!! Lol.

it was btwn my gown(gown A) and the maggie sottera(monalisa royale)(gown B)

guy1 'i like 'gown A' but it will be a Biiiiiiiitch to clean after the wedding'

guy2 ' u look better in gown A'

so gown A it was!

Whwn my dad saw me in my dress he said, 'you look like a little girl playing dress up.' Which means I looked beautiful. Noone else has seen my dress even though all the groomsmen have asked to see a picture.
