Do yourself a favor. Don't write out your own invitation addresses.

Do yourself a favor. Don't write out your own invitation addresses.

I was doing a great job this week.

But for some reason today - maybe because last night I was so tired I fell asleep instead of working on these and today I wanted to finish them - but I cannot write anything without my hand shaking and then screwing up the envelopes. I'm wasting envelopes left and right!

Spend the extra $$ and have someone do them for you or do on a computer. It's less stressful.

Sorry to hear that but that is exactly why I paid someone to do it on a computer for me. I didn't want to be stressed.

I keep telling FH 'next time we get married I'm getting them printed!'

Thanks for the warning. Last thing I need right now is added stress.

I'm sorry that is happening to you - my hand gets tired like that too.

Where are you ladies having them printed?

I used my own Lexmark printer and they look just fine ... but it was stress trying to get it all lined up, correct font size, etc in the beginning.

Actually, My sister had hers printed for her May 03 wedding. Then she had some last minute invites and didn't have time to get them printed. I did them quickly and easily on my computer, and you wouldn;t tell the difference ebtween those and the ones that cost $1.50 an envelope. Once you get it lined up, it's pretty easy, and it saves a lot of money. I'm actually planning on making my own invitations with specialty papers.

I was nervous that my printer would print them crooked.

As it turns out for some reason it is grabbing regular 8x11 paper crooked. No reason why. I took it apart and there's nothing stuck in it. I would rather pay for the conveinance of someone else doing it if I have to do it again.

Oh well!

we printed out our own. it was the best thing we ever did!! as long as you don't overload the printer, you will be fine. i printed five then stuffed those five. it gave the printer a few minutes to relax between batches.
