DOC

They can do as much or as little as you want. Most DOCs meet with you a month or so before the wedding to go over final vendor contracts, help you get your timelines straight. Finalize last minute projects and issues. Some come to the rehearsal the night before to meet the bridal party etc. They come to the bride's house the day of to help with the pictures and getting dressed. They are at the church to help with the procession, to make sure programs get handed out, bubbles etc. Then they usually go the reception hall ahead of you to make sure your flowers are set up, your favors are set, check in your vendors...be There to make sure everything goes perfect. Then they help with the flow of the wedding...handling All the little details, so you can enjoy yourself. Some DOCS even handle invitations, programs, menus, tablecards, favors...and some do COMPLETE wedding planning start to finish if you need.

I honestly didn't think I need one....then about 3 weeks before, my grandma passed away...and my mom and had so much to take care of. I hired a DOC who was AMAZING. She met with me, had SO many checklists to see what I had complete and what still needed to be done. She made up lists to give my vendors to make sure certain things were taken care of, which I would never have thought of. She did my menus, programs, wedding wishes, bathroom basket, poems and even my table cards and helped with my master guestlist. She was so so great. She helped get our 'rings' when MY now Husband forgot them!! She helped with the procession, handed out programs. Then she asked if we wanted her to take over some of the flowers from the church to the reception hall..which was sooo nice. She went there early....helped the florist set up, made sure everything was set up...tablecards, wedding wishes etc, She bustled my dress when I got there...and was just amazing to us all night. She even took pictures for us and sent them to us the next day so we could see some shots before our honeymoon.
Anyway sorry to go on and on...but she was just so amazing....and we STILL are getting compliments about her and the stuff she made for the wedding.
