DOC

What is a DOC? Is it your own bridal attendant, not what the RH might give you? and if that is the case,,, where or who are the best? How about a price range?

I have a DOC and I will have my Bridal Attendant also. The bridal attendant will be completely attending to me - making sure I have drinks, something to eat, helping me with my dress, etc., whereas my DOC will be attending to not just me but to making sure everything that I want is happening...making sure my placecards are set up right, making sure my photog is taking my must have pics, etc...

- so i guess it is worth having one, if u can afford one!!

Re: DOC

I dont have a DOC I have a actual wedding planner and if you can afford it, I would say go for it. It comforting knowing that I can sit back and let someone else sweat on the day of my wedding. For me I needed an advocate during my wedding planning for when I was out of town. Took away some stress

Like the other poster said, a DOC is not associated with your hall. Even though you get a Bridal attendant &/or BM, your DOC has different duties for that day.

A DOC is the first vendor to arrive and the last one to leave. About 2-weeks before your wedding they contact all your vendors and make sure they know where to be and at what time, They hand out the tips/$$ to your vendors the day of, they go with you for pictures and make sure that is all in order, any problems that may occur that day, your DOC will know about it, take care of it and make sure you don't. On top of so many other things, this is just some.

I highly recommend getting one if you can swing it.
