I'm using one. Mainly because I feel like I have so many small details that I'm putting a lot of time into, and its kind of pointless to do these details if they're not executed correctly on the day of. Also, I'm kinda a control freak and just need someone to take over and make my day perfect without me having to worry. I dont want to have to give my moh and bridesmaids all these jobs either because they're supposed to enjoy the day too.

I will be booking one. I need someone to just make sure the day runs smoothly, and I want my friends and relatives to enjoy their day... I invested a lot of time and $$$ into my wedding for my guests, I don't want them to have to worry about anything but eating and dancing and having a good time.

Some brides on LIW who have become very close have sometimes been each others DOC for their individual day.I mean these girls truly trust each other and I think thats a beautiful thing really. I would love to do this, I guess we shall see what the next two years hold...

Im not hiring one. Doing ceremony and reception at same place. Would rather spend that money somewhere else.

That's something to think about... I never thought of that. I did hear about how other LIW brides that have become close have become 'seat fillers' for each other if they don't meet their minimum... I think that's great too... no hard feelings about being on a 'B' list since they know exactly what's going on.

That really is a nice idea to have a lady from LIW, especially since we all know so much about each other's wedding. Something to consider.

I did get some quotes through FM and it seems to be around $500 for a DOC.

I won't be hiring one. My sisters and cousins are in my BP and I think they'll do just fine.

Ceremony is RH so I'm not sure I'd need a DOC. Going to ask my SIL if she could just make sure decorations are done correctly that morning and will ask my father to hand out the tips. Other than that, not sure what else I need to worry about.

I am so nervous about this. Like what if they don't set up my centerpieces and tables exactly how I want it. I would be pissed lol. We don't have the funds to hire a DOC so if I don't have someone help me out best believe i will be down there making sure things are set up the way I want it. I guess that going be my mini Bridezilla fit!

I am using one, i am going to use the PWP DOC because i am such a high anxiety person when it comes to big events and planning and i do not want to be highly stressed that day or bothered. And i really do not want my MOH or my mother bothered that day either
