DOC?

DOC?

What exactly do they do? I'm going to have a Maitre D and a Bridal Attendant (pretty sure) so should I still look into a DOC?

I should add that I'm not having a bridal party so I would think that means less coordination. What would I typically need help with from the time I wake up to the time I get to the reception?

A DOC is a Day or Coordinator. I haven't booked one but they can help out with all sorts of things. Like if you want someone to make sure the set up of your RH and ceremony is exactly how you pictured it, the DOC can oversee it. Also, just for advise about inivites, favors, etc. They are their to make sure your day is flawless and worry free.

I booked with Laura from LA Productions (she is SUCH a sweet person, she really knows her stuff)
A DOC is there to help you and make sure your day goes the way you want it to. They do everything from help you get ready to setting up the church to making sure flowers are right to going over all of your contracts to make sure you dont get taken advantage of the day of your wedding (at least Laura does this). Most also have a discount for things like invites and paper goods which cna be a big help.
