I hired a DOC back in June and haven't really spoken to them since then. Should they be contacting me or doing anything as of right now? I'm starting to feel a little nervous.

Do you have anything you need to discuss? Otherwise, I think it is ok but if you are nervous just send an e-mail updating her on where you were and ask for next steps on when you should contact her to go over plans for the big day.

that's a good idea.
or just email her and make sure she still has your marked in her book for that day.
i contacted my DOC a few months ago by sending her all of my vendor contracts and she was like 'thanks for sending, but dont send this stuff to me until like 6 weeks before the wedding b/c so much could change between now and then'
i guess that makes sense - she's not a wedding planner so she really just has to be brought up to speed for the day of plans. works for me

Good idea, maybe I'll send her an email just to let her know where I am at.
And you're right, she's not a wedding planner so I guess there really is not need to have contact with her this far in advance.
