I am contemplating the idea of hiring a DOC. I am not sure if it is totally worth it since the hall already gives us a bridal attendant. Please help! Thanks.

Re: DOC
TOTALLY WORTH IT! I thought I wouldn't need/want one but after taking to one, I knew it would be completely and utterly worth it. they do a ton more than what your bridal attendant does. def check them out! no harm in asking for information!

Re: DOC
I was on the fence with this. So many people advised me that one was not necessary include my BM. So I'm trusting & leaving it in their hands b/c that's what they are paid for.

Re: DOC
If you have some great friends and family members to help you out on the day of, I don't think you need to spend the money on a DOC. Unless of course you have a lot of DIY that needs to be set up like centerpieces, etc., then I think it is worth it. My best friend and MOH was amazingly helpful that day and took care of everything for us! She made sure to grab everything from the church and handed out all the tips etc.

Re: DOC
I would have been sunk if not for my DOC! I had a lot of DIY and while i brought it all over to the RH with instructions, no one set anything up. They had never told me that they were not going to set up- not even the programs. If i did not have a DOC, then nothing would have gotten decorated. Also, i did not want my sister/MOH and my 2 BM's who both traveled to be in my wedding, to have to get up extra early to get their hair and make-up done so then could rush over and 'work'. i wanted them to relax and enjoy the day. Laura and Jenn from LA Production were AMAZING! I never knew anything was wrong till i came back from my honeymoon!

Re: DOC
I think it depends on how complex your wedding arrangements will be. We are having the wedding at our church in one town and the hotel and reception are about 40 minutes from the church. If something is forgotten, there is no way we can ask a guest to run for us. Also, we are going to have the DOC stalk the photographer, florist, limos, videographer and other contractors to make sure everythink is exactly as agreed upon. A BC does not perform these kinds of services.
If you are having your wedding at the reception hall, then you have your BC with you all day.

Re: DOC
Are there any Fox Hollow brides who had a DOC, and did you find that it was worth the money? Thanks

Re: DOC
Check out my bride's review for cheeky glam. I don't know what I would have done without them.
In my experience, for all the weddings that I have been in, the bridal attendants are really personal waitresses that will help get you things at the reception hall and get things for you there, but don't handle the vendors or anything else. they helped with the introductions and even helped me go to the bathroom, but the DOCs do EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING!!
