DOC

Hi ladies. I keep going back and forth about a DOC. I really want one, but I don't think I have the room in my budget to make it work. I am going to try to convince FH that it's totally worth the money and I was wondering if any of you could FM me quotes. I'm really just looking for a DOC, not event planning. TIA for your help!

My one big regret about my wedding was not having a DOC. I thought I could leave it to my sister and the RH staff but....

1) My sister claimed to have lost my purse with my lipstick in it. I told her it was in my overnight bag and asked her to look. She said it wasn't there.,...lo and behind that night after the wedding, it was there. I ended up wearing my bffs lipstick all night and it was the WRONG color for me. UGH

2) My pictures were severely delayed because they 'couldn't find' my mom for photos. The bridal attendant also came in and said she was looking for my godfather, who was sitting right there.

In general, I wish the DOC had been there to coordinate pictures

3) My mom had issues with her dress. I stayed away from the chaos of everyone else getting dressed. I feel like a DOC would have been an outside person to handle it.

With all the money I spent, I really wish I had had a DOC to make those little details perfect.

It is my one regret as well. I just felt I had no money left.,but there are issues I know a doc would have fixed for me that I now wake up at night thinking about. I say do it early before other things multiply. Why not have as much help as possible on the day of rehearsal ,.final catering meeting and day of the wedding,. We killed ourselves bringing stuff to hotels and catering hall and church .. I was a mess by the time of the rehearsal after running around all day.. Everyone told me I didn't need it and I am very organized.. But I do think it would have made such difference in so many ways. I say go for it. Wish I did.
