DOC Help ...

wish i could help. my doc was useless!!

almost makes me wish i was one so i can show her how it's done.

anyway, i digress.

I know Darlene (OctoberBliss) used Francesca from Dazzling Affairs and only had wonderful things to say about her!! She did the same thing as you too, a horse and carriage ride to her outside ceremony!!

I have done many searches on here and I have seen a lot of brides recommend different doc's but they never really say why.. just that she's great or she's wonderful and unfortunately that's what was said about the useless doc we had last year!!! But I will definitely look into all of your recommendations... thank you all so much!!

Gotta agree with everyone. Chrisitine was my DOC and she was absolutely wonderful!!

I'm using Francesca of Dazzling Affairs and she has been incredible. She goes above and beyond. I consider myself to be organized but she's got me beat!!! I HIGHLY recommend her.

I chose Christine because of her attention to detail at her own wedding. I have only had email correspondence with her (will be meeting with her soon) and it shows through her emails just how together she is. She is my DOC but I have gone to her with questions ranging from Limos, make-up person, trouble with my BP and how to handle it. She gets back to me right away and even though she doesn't have to answer these question as I am only booked with her for day of services she is always ready, willing and able to help. She checks in with me just to make sure I have evrything I need. I have total faith in her. HTH

I used Francesca from Dazzling Affairs as cindyandkevin said in this thread. Yes she is great and wonderful, as to the why part there is an extensive explanation in my review. However to spare you the hour long read, I will say that each and every time I called her to ask a question I got an answer. Most times the answer was immediate, the few times it wasn't at the moment I called it was later the same day. To the best of my recollection, only once did the response take more than later the same day.

The day of I needed her to be at my house keeping me calm, but I also needed her at my ceremony location setting up the chairs for the guest and overseeing the decorations. She managed to actually do both. I needed the programs and petals handed out at the ceremony - it was done. I needed the chairs broken down immediately following the ceremony so champagne and hor d'ouvers could be served - it was done. I needed the groom to be comfortable before I arrived, but I also needed to make sure he didn't see me get out of the horse and carriage - it was done. I needed to make sure that the bridal party did what we had agreed upon at the rehearsal. Because she was at the rehearsal and activey participated, she was able to ensure that the BMs went down the aisle in the proper order, she was able to ensure the aisle runner was pulled out when I wanted it pulled out, she was able to make sure the music was cued properly (although Vinny from High Voltage didn't really need any direction since he had come to the ceremony location and met with me & Francesca a week before the ceremony). She set up my jewelry and shoes etc for the photographer. She put all the bouts on each of the guys. At the reception she gathered people for pictures, she made sure I ate (she also did this in the morning while I was getting ready), she fixed my hair, she had my lipstick in her pocket from the moment the makeup artist left my house until she dropped DH & I off at our hotel (and helped carry our stuff in) ANd made sure that it was reapplied throughout the day, so that it looks just as good in the first picture as it does in the last. HOw much is the average price for a DOC?

You dont have to be specific...vendor discretion is probably appreciated.
