DOC - Question

My friend is getting married in 2 weeks and she asked me to be the DOC. I just wanted to know if anyone has done this before and if there are any tips and also is there anything I should look out for?

I already asked her for a list of vendors, phone numbers, and estimated arrival time.

We're going to visit the RH this weekend to see how she wants it set up.

Shes going to send me a picture of how she wants her favors set up.

Anything else i'm missing?

I'd call her banquet manager because they may not allow you to just step in and be the doc. Most docs have a standing relationship with halls, not to mention an established business and insurance for liability purposes. It's one thing to oversee setup and call vendors to confirm, but I wouldn't expect to coordinate the MD and waitstaff.
