DOC Question- Repost 09

I'm just thinking out loud here...if one has a DOC, do they count as a vendor as far as the RH is concerned, or a guest?

I mean, in terms of if they would be required to submit proof of insurance and the liability certificate or whatnot...or would they be viewed as just a hyper-efficient guest? lol

OK, that's what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure. Trying to work some things out in my head, not sure which way I want to go yet though.

Very often RH's are more lenient with a DOC because they are a person and they have no equipment to insure. At least, I believe that is the reason. Sometimes they ask for a business license, etc but your RH will contact your vendors directly for anything that they need proof of.
