DOC Timing

Hi All! So I met with a Day of Coordinator the other night and I am definitely going to book, but the question I have for people who are using one or have used one is how long should I have her for? I'm still torn whether or not I want her there at the end of the night to distribute tips and everything (I probably will) and I definitely want her there to oversee where all the decorations are going and that the centerpieces are what I ordered. What time does the venue start to get set up? My ceremony starts at 5:30 and photos are starting at 2:30, so would 1-1:30 be good enough to have her getting there?
