Doctor questions...

I haven't had health insurance in a long time.

I've only been to a regular doctor-doctor one time in my life. Went to the pediatrician until I was thrown out essentially for being too old.... then didn't go back to a doctor until I had gotten sick and thus the one visit.

I've been having my regular woman visits via planned parenthood but... since I'm getting married in a few days I'm about to be

COVERED BY HEALTH INSURANCE WHOOO.

So... find a OBGYN AND a primary care provider, yes? Or ... just a OBGYN?

Find a primary care and an OBGYN.
Get a full physical and blood work to begin with, and then you can follow their recommendations for regular check ups. This way, if you get a cold, etc. you will be an established patient, and get an appt. right away.

And a OBGYN for yearly PAP smears, etc.

Get an OBGYN for now and if you like him/her, ask them to recommend a primary.

I go this really nice lady OBGYN in New Hyde Park, but that might be too far for you?
