Aw, that poor baby. I hope she feels better. Does the doctor have a service that will return your call?

Re: Doctors

Thats strange for a doctors office to be closed on wenesdays? This is why i have my physicians cell phone number as well so i can leave him a voicemail if i have an emergency then he calls patients back. I hope she feels better!

You're right, you should mix the two b/c she can get very drowsy etc...I would say that giving her a cough suppresant lozenge would be ok b/c it's a small amount. How old is she?

Give her warm liquids to ease her throat irritation and a few lozenges throughout the day. What else were you thinking of giving her?

Definitely do the shower steam with the door closed. Look out for loud wheezing, nasal flaring, and her using her abdominal muscles to breathe. Remember, you can always take her to the ER if it gets too bad. I'm sure it's just a cold or maybe pneumonia again. Feel free to FM me with questions. I had another mommie from this board FM me last night about the same thing in her 6 month old.
Hope she feels better!
