Dodged a bullet!!!

I was originally considering having my wedding on Sunday, October 15th at The Crescent Beach Club... to save some $$, we moved it to November 12th!

just found out that the Oyster Festival is that weekend!!!! Traffic would have been a MESS!

So, warning to any brides having their wedding in the Oyster Bay/Bayville area that weekend... the Oyster Festival will be in town!!!!!!!!!!

nah you will be ok. i have been around for the oyster fest - bayville is not bad, it is oyster bay.

yeah, but it's getting from Syosset, where the church is TO Oyster Bay that will be TERRIBLE. I go to the Oyster Fest every year and that traffic is HORRIFFIC!!! Plus I would have had to make it to the Planting Fields in record time for pics, so no time for delays!! So glad I don't have to worry about that!
