I have a lot of French themed items in my kitchen...

would this tile look out of place?

As in a french design on a mexican tile? ... I don't think that 'matters' It's a design and if you like it, go for it. It looks good to me

the design I love...but does that type of tile have a 'mexican' feeling to it?

I think it has a 'rustic feel' to it .. like you would find it in a villa in France ... I don't think it's neccassarily (sp???) too Mexican. I really like them.

fluer de lis is the pattern in the bottom middle of the first picture...

ETA: all of below are Fluer de lis
its a french design
