Does a head piece go with a mantilla veil?

I know I don't want a tiara, but I would love to wear some head piece along my mantilla veil.
Just not sure whether both can co-exist....I can't seem to find any pics

I have a Mantilla Veil, and im wearing a Feather fascinator with it on the side.

Any type of hair jewelry im sure would look pretty

I feel like with mantilla veils, there is already so much going on with the lace that it may look too cluttered with a headpiece as well.

Are you planning on wearing the veil all night? Why not buy something to put in your hair after the veil comes off? As of right now, I am going to attempt to make my veil and hair flower work in harmony, but if it looks weird than I am going to save the flower for after I take off my veil.

EDIT: also I just tried to do a search myself and couldn't find a single pic. I'll keep trying

These girls have flowers in their hair and a mantilla veil. I think it looks fine!

I think it's often one or the other....I know I'm anti-tiara. Love headbands and side combs though.
