The grates on top of the stove (not sure if this is what they are called, but where you put a pot)?
Is there something I can soak them in? I tried scrubbing them but that isn't working good enough

Re: Does andyone know how to clean
do you mean the solid metal 'dish' piece or the coils?? i put the solid pieces in the dishwasher at least one a month, that usually gets them pretty clean. for the coils - i use just regular fantastik when i am cleaning the rest of the stove.

If you mean the silver 'pans' that go under the coils on an electric over you can use oven cleaner on it or if it gets really really bad go to target or kmart and just buy replacement they are kinda cheap maybe 3 bucks a piece if that much.

Thanks girls!
I meant the oven grates. I went online last night and they also said to use oven cleaner. I used it and it worked ike a charm!!!!
I sprayed it on and left it for about a half hour and then use a steel wool (i think that's what it was) pad and every single bit came off. It didn't scratch or anything. My stove looks brand new!!!!
