Does any one know about the Carltun On The Sound

My fh and i went to go see it on sat. and we liked it a lot. the price seemed fair and the hall looked very pretty (set up for someone's wedding). I tried to search for reviews of this place and found only some negative comments about it but not from anyone who has had their wedding there. I know the food is good b/c they have the same chef's from Carltun Park and i went to a party there. We liked the view of the water since we are having our ceremony there. Please help.

A few things about this venue that concerned me & FH when we went to look. We were disappointed with the 'waterview', from the pics, we did not realize you had to overlook a parking lot first. And, I was not thrilled about the bridal suite being attached to the ballroom and not having its own bathroom. And I did not like the cocktail hour set-up in the basement. But, that's our personal opinion. If you really liked it, then I'm sure you'll have a wonderful day there. The room was beautiful and I liked that it was only one wedding at a time. Good luck!
